Feelings of Gratitude

As I sit here pondering the events that have taken place in the last few months I am simply in awe. The way life can change so quickly, the way the many ways the Lords shows his love for his children, the way prayer can quickly soothe your aching heart, the way your sister knows just what to say, the way a letter can quickly brighten your day, simply again, I am in awe. I am so grateful for all that I have in my life. I am so grateful to have the knowledge of this wonderful gospel. I am grateful for my wonderful family. I am grateful for friends who will so sincerely give a listening ear. I love it all!

My Twins
The first weekend in October I was able to take an entire weekend off and go stay with my twins; Candace and Claire. Although, now that they are both married It is Candace and Troy and Claire and Josh. But I am so grateful for them!! They are the best of friends, I only took like two pictures and I haven't uploaded them yet so here is and old one of us.

Anyways, I am so luck to have them in my life! I love them so very much! We went to the BYU/USU football game and Yes I did where my Cougar attire. :) haha. I was able to stay one night at each of their apartments. I love beingable to catch up with them and just talk about 'sweet nothings'. I miss them dearly but am excited every chance I get to see them or talk to them.

Pains of the Heart
It was October 17, I had just gotten off of work and I got the call. It was my mom calling to tell me that one of my dear friends had been killed in a car accident the night before. It was the worst feeling I have ever felt in my entire life. It was like my heart had been ripped out and thrown into the sea. I felt like it was a lie, some cruel trick she was playing on me, but I know that my mom would never do something like that. So I had to believe it. All I could think about was how her husband was going to go on. And to make it worse, she was five months pregnant. As the days went by tears would fill my eyes all day as I would think about her husband, John. I cannot even imagine losing the two things most important in life. Having the gospel only makes it a little more easy, as hard as it still is. Stephanie is an amazing young woman! I know that she is working wonders on the other side. She always had a way of brightening your day with her beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her in the years to come. But what a rejoicing day it will be when she is again reunited with her husband. I am so grateful for this gospel and for the peace it brings to ones soul.

How lucky am I to have known such an outstanding girl?? I love you Steph!

New Job
I am now working as a CNA in Logan! Yahoo!! I work at The Legacy House, which is an Assisted Living place. And ya know what I thoroughly enjoy it. :) I enjoy being able to take care of people who cannot help themselves. Here we have residents with all abilities to hardly any. Some people we just take out their garbage and others we toilet them and have to get them dressed. Most of the dependent residents are in what we call the Cottages. The Cottages are our alzheimer's unit. It is always in interesting day when you work those shifts! :) But I really am enjoying my new job and the people I get to work with.

Moving to Logan
Yes! Alas, it is happening! I have found an apartment, a roommate and we signed the contract! AHHH!!! It is all scary and exciting and new...all at the same time! :) I am moving in with a girl from High School, she is a year younger but she is fantastic! Jodi is her name and we are killer excited! We will be living here...

This is our apartment well not ours, but this is what they look like! :) Happy Days!! Move-In date is December 12. Yippee Skippee!!! Well other than these happenings not to much has been going on. I am excited to move to Logan and not have to travel the Canyon anymore! This past weekend I spent Friday night at Tat and Rob's then Saturday we went to Thanksgiving Point to watch our little cousin Dance at the Gingerbread Festival (which was fabulous all on its own). Then we continued down to Provo for my aunt's baby shower. Here is a picture...
